General Rules and Policies of the Virginia Baseball Camp, Inc.

The following policies and general information have been designed to insure a safe, productive, and enjoyable camp experience. The rules are kept to a minimum, but are also essential to the welfare of
all concerned. You will be held responsible for your adherence to these guidelines.

Remember, your primary responsibility is to make the most of this camp experience. Your enrollment indicates a desire to learn.

1. Alcoholic beverages, non-prescription drugs and tobacco products are forbidden.
2. Please do not drive your car unless absolutely necessary. All car keys will be turned in at
registration.
3. No smoking, gambling or fire crackers.
4. You must attend all clinic sessions, scheduled activities and films. Permission to be excused
must be obtained from your team coach.
5. Shoes, shirts, trousers (or shorts) must be worn at all times outside the dormitory and in the cafeteria.
6. Treat all facilities and equipment respectfully. You will be held responsible for all damages.
7. Campers are not permitted to leave the grounds, except by special permission.
8. Your room, hallways, and floor lobby will be inspected daily for cleanliness and order. No rough-housing in the dorm area. Comments, vulgar language, yelling or whistling are forbidden. All food must remain within the dining area. Beds are to be made before each morning session.
9. Harassment or hazing of any camper is forbidden. The development of "togetherness" is a constant camp objective.
10. Be respectful and gentlemanly to all personnel (i.e., "please", "thank you", " Yes , Sir" and "No, Sir".
11. Medical Treatment: All injuries or sickness must be reported to your team coach and the camp trainer.
12. We are not responsible for belongings left in your room after your departure from camp.REMEMBER: You are representing your family, school and community at this camp. Your conduct reflects on these individuals and yourself. Although we do not anticipate any conduct outside the accepted standards of behavior, we maintain the right to dismiss any camper for just cause. Dismissal from camp means no refund of fees.

Casual Clothes
Catchers gear (catcher's only)
Spending money

NOTE: We strongly discourage bringing expensive personal items, such as stereos, portable televisions, costly watches, etc. The Virginia Baseball Camp, Inc. and Hampden-Sydney College are not responsible for the safety of these items.
