Procedure to Enroll

Online Application: Register at Camp Pros

By Mail: Complete the attached application and medical clearance form, answering ALL questions completely and legibly. Clip and mail this form with your camp tuition payment IN FULL. Upon receiving your completed application and tuition payment, you will be forwarded a letter of confirmation within 21 days guaranteeing your reservation, and including: Directions to Hampden-Sydney, what to bring, camp rules, shuttle schedule, and other specific reporting instructions.

Check-in, Check-out Procedures
Check-in at the Kirby Field House on the campus of Hampden-Sydney College from 11:00a.m.-2:00 p.m. the opening day of each session. The first on-field session begins opening day at 3:00 p.m. Camp concludes with “Showcase Day” the final day of each session (weather permitting). Showcase Day consists of 12 games among 12 teams on two fields. Play begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at 6:00 p.m. (bring your lawn chair!). Each team plays twice, and campers are free to check-out following their second game. Rosters and rooming assignments are compiled prior to session opening. Team rosters are assembled by primary and secondary positions indicated on camper’s applications. Parents are welcome at all instructional sessions and league games.

Changing Sessions
Is allowed up until June 15, 2008 and as long as space is available.

Withdrawal
Each BIV session sells-out and slots are guaranteed upon receipt of application and full tuition payment. Enrollment is limited to 192 campers (12 teams of 16 players) per session to ensure a highly organized format and optimal coach-to-camper ratio. All communications to withdraw should be made in writing and communicated by fax or e-mail.
Full refunds are remitted until June 15, 2008. Those withdrawing June 16, 2008 or later are charged a $200.00 space reservation fee. Withdrawls June 16 or later are charged a $ 200.00 space reservation fee. A “no show” will not receive reimbursement of tuition without advance notification.

Sign-out, Late Arrivals, and Early Departures
Campers are allowed to sign-out to attend summer league commitments. Late arrivals and early departures are allowed with the understanding that camp segments will be missed and shuttle service is not provided in these instances.

Supervision and Discipline
The Best In Virginia Showcase Camp utilizes all team coaches and instructors as 24-hour camp and dormitory supervisors. We simply require that all of our campers have a desire to learn, a will to compete, and sportsmanship that is both clean and healthy. Our staff will not tolerate any camper who fails to conduct himself in an appropriate manner. The Best In Virginia Showcase Camp operates within a community of trust and a simple code of honor in which campers will not lie, cheat or steal. The Virginia Baseball Camp, Inc. reserves the right to dismiss any camper for misconduct.
